Sore Arches…

So on Friday night, I did something stupid. I played tennis without my tennis shoes. It’s Sunday morning now and my arches on my right foot is a bit sore… I’ve been wearing the plantar fasciitis foot things at night, but I guess if it’s been injured, I just have to make sure it doesn’t get worse. :(

JP iTunes 2008 Valentine Gift Selection

There’s a section called “giri choco” in the Japanese iTunes music store. It’s kinda funny… Well, I was amused by it. Most of the songs I didn’t recognize, but the ones I did, I was internally laughing trying to figure out how it was “giri”.

Turandot: “Nessun dorma!” by London Philharmonic Orchestra
What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong

The last one was the funniest for me. World Football Anthem, heheh. >.>;

Super Tuesday!

I voted today! Between the 2 major Democratic candidate, I went with Obama. It was a very tough decision because they were very similar (they are both of the Democratic party after all), but in the end I thought that Obama had what it takes to become a leader. It would have been awesome to see a woman as president, but it’s equally awesome to see a person of color in that seat also.

Sick +1

Every girl’s fantasy to have the flu AND her period at the same time. Good thing about having a period now is that since I’m heavily drugged with Theraflu, I don’t feel any cramps. Bad thing about having period now… It makes a sucky situation worse. :\

Even Sicker

So now I’m feeling rather crappy. I get too hot easily, and then too cold easily. My throat hurts from all the coughing, my eyes feel gross, and I’m eagerly waiting for midnight to roll around to take more Theraflu. I was supposed to go over to Laura’s house to feel her bunnies, but I couldn’t leave my room very much. My bed was much too welcoming. I ended up asking Franklin to do it for me. I hope he doesn’t get sick.

Sick

I think my sister gave me her flu. Except I’m not having chills or bodyaches. Just a really bad cough that makes my throat sore and a slight headache. My bottle of Advil is still MIA so I took some ibuprofen that I bought in Japan for my headache. It didn’t work. :( Ugh. I couldn’t sleep very well last night either. I would wake up every once in a while coughing. Ugh ugh.

Imported FFVII Potion

During lunch on Thursday, Brian wanted to stop by the anime store before we got our food. I saw the FFVII 10th Anniversary Potion drinks behind the counter. It was $13, but I really wanted to try it. I’m very into trying different food and drinks so I figured, $13 for one time isn’t horrible. It’d be more for the can than the liquid inside. Everyone keeps on saying how the drink tastes horrible, so I was really curious. Well, it turned out that I liked it. I liked it a lot. Of course, I like the taste of energy drinks, so I suppose it wasn’t a surprise that I liked the FFVII Potion. The empty can is now a part of my office decoration.

Heavy Rains

A big storm finally hit California with the rain we do desperately needed. Unfortunately for those living in then burn areas, it’s probably not a welcomed event. I’ve read on the news that it’s took out the power to areas in northern California… I wonder how bad it’s going to get in southern California?

Tomorrow I’m going to be teaching Nadine how to knit. I’m going to lend her some beginner books of mine and give her some yarn (I have plenty). I can’t lend her my needles, so I’m going to buy her some. Probably size 8, one in metal, one in bamboo. Personally, I find bamboo to be lighter and easier to work the yarn with, but different strokes for different folks. I would prefer to buy her yarn when she’s a bit more proficient so she won’t be spending tons of money like I do. Meh. It’s an expensive hobby.
